2026 Senior Public Links Championship

Location: Cannon Golf Club

Dates: July 18 & 19, 2026

Entry Fee: $145, limited to first 180 players entered

Registration Opens: March 2, 2026

Registration Closes: July 8, 2026

Format: 36 Hole Stroke Play

• Championship Division (must elect)
  • Gross event
• Championship 65 and over Division (must elect, not eligible to win overall Championship)
  • Gross event
• Net Division
  • Net event
  • Flights determined by Handicap
  • Players will be adjusted to 95% of their full course handicap
• 70 and over Division (must elect, not eligible to win overall Championship)
  • Both Gross and Net

The player in each Division and Flight with the lowest score after 36 holes will be the winner. In the event of a tie for the Championship, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.

Eligibility: Entry is open to any amateur golfer:

1. Who plays out of an MPGA Member Club or approved affiliate.
2. Who is at least 50 years of age as of the first day of the Championship
3. Who carries a current active GHIN Handicap

Player Points: Only players in the Championship Division will be awarded MGA Player Points as per the published MGA Player Point Distribution. Note: Player must be 55 or older on or before the first day of the event to be eligible to receive MGA Player Points.

Exemptions: None.

An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the registration for the competition has closed.
