Established in 1923, the Minnesota Public Golf Association (MPGA) promotes the sport of golf for patrons of Minnesota's public golf courses.
As a 100+ year old all-volunteer organization, the Executive Committee of the MPGA works diligently to advocate for and protect the true spirit of the game of golf in the State of Minnesota.
What We Do
Team Match Play
We organize and manage several season long inter-club Best Ball Match Play competitions for our member clubs. These include 16-man,12-man, 8-man, and 4-man teams playing 2-man Best Ball matches against other member clubs with Team Champions for each level determined by year end playoffs.

MPGA Four Ball; MPGA Senior Four Ball; MPGA Net Four Ball Results
Trent Peterson and Nick Jarrett won the MPGA Four Ball with a final score of 13 under par. Daryl Shomer and Steve Whitaker finished 10 under par to win the MPGA Senior Four Ball. Brice Conner and Brian Orn captured the First flight in a one hole playoff. Josh Daiker and Brian Paone won the Second Flight in a two hole playoff. The event held at Monticello Country Club was shortened to 27 holes due to forecasted storms in the area.
